In the beginning
2004 - Green Apple was founded by Daric and Freda Stevens as an educational association of child care centers in Florida.
2004 - Green Apple was recognized by the Florida Department of Children and Families as a religious exempt accrediting agency.
2005 - Green Apple accredited its first nonpublic [private] school in Margate, Florida.
2012 - Green Apple granted preaccreditation status to its first bible college/seminary school in Greenacres, Florida.
2013 - Green Apple was recognized by the Florida Department of Children and Families as a Gold Seal Accrediting Agency.
2013 - Green Apple was recognized in Florida to accredit Substance Abuse Programs.
2014 - Green Apple was approved in Minnesota for Child Care Programs.
Today
GAACS accredits child care/early learning programs, private schools, after school programs, substance abuse programs, residential treatment centers, and training programs throughout the United States.
