Membership Membership is the first step required to apply for Accreditation and/or License Exempt Approval. Membership terms include annual membership and lifetime membership.
There are 4 membership categories:
Accreditation GAACS provides accreditation through peer review and self evaluation to Child Care/Early Learning Programs, Nonpublic/Private Schools, Public/Charter Schools, After School Programs, Residential Treatment Centers, and Substance Abuse Programs.
GAACS is a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Green Apple Accreditation is required for participation in funding programs or higher reimbursement rates for subsidized care in several states.

License-Exempt Approval GAACS is a recognized/approved license-exempt accrediting agency. Programs that are an integral part of a church or parochial school are eligible to apply for license exemption.

Certification As additional recognition of a individual's academic and employment experience, Green Apple offers Certification for Teachers and Administrators who have met the eligibility requirements.
Green Apple provides child care training for providers that need to take the FCCPC, CDA, or in-service professional development works. Annual conferences are the best way to receive training for all providers including: child care directors, preschool teachers, behavioral health professionals, and K-12 school administrators/teachers.
