Cost of Accreditation

Anticipating the cost of accreditation can  be a scary thought. GAACS strives to make the accreditation process  seemless and the cost of accreditation affordable. For a accurate quote  for accreditation, contact GAACS office, info@gaacs.org.


Some costs to expect:

a. Application fees- Every  member organization must make written application and submit a  nonrefundable accreditation application fee. The application fee is on a  sliding scale based on the size of the organization, type of  organization, and level of accreditation applied for.


b. Standards Manual- Member  organizations may purchase a hard copy of the industry specific  standards through the GAACS store. To access the GAACS store, click on  Publications from the About tab. A downloadable copy of the standards is  available FREE of Charge in the My GAACS Account.


c. Onsite Visit Inspection- Every organization must host a onsite visit inspection. Costs for the onsite inspection are outlined in the What to Expect.


d. Travel expenses- Every effort will be made to minimize the costs of travel expenses including  inspecting more than one facility in the same location (when possible).  However, it is the responsiblity of the candidate member organization to  reimburse the visiting team's expenses. 

Member and Accreditation Fees

Behavioral Health

  • Membership - $580
  • Accreditation - $2000
  • Surveyor -  (per surveyor, per day; typically 2 surveyors for 2 days) - $1500 
  • Annual Report - $300

Early Education Center

  • Membership - $400
  • Accreditation - Birth to Five ($850) 
  • Accreditation - Birth to Five & School Age ($1500)
  • Site Visit - $600
  • Annual Report - $200

Enrichment Program

  • Membership - $450
  • Accreditation - $850
  • Program - $100 (per program After School, Camp, etc.)
  • Site Visit - $400
  • Annual Report - $150

K - 12 School

  • Membership $600
  • Accreditation  - Elementary School - $1350 
  • Accreditation  - Middle and High School - $1500
  • Accreditation - K - 12 School - $1750
  • Site Visit - $600
  • Annual Report - $250

Refund Policy

Fees are subject to change. Be sure to double check the application form for the current fee schedule. 

All fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable. 

License Exempt Fees

  • Membership (Early Education Center - $400 OR Enrichment Program - $450)
  • License Exempt Application - $300
  • Site Visit - $150
